Terms of Service

What a quote covers

The figure is set on the call, before a van leaves, and it holds through the receipt. The $89 service call is inside it. Adding to the job on site means a separate quote for the addition, agreed before it is started.

Ranges published here are typical figures, not offers. Time of day is the only thing that moves the total on its own: +$40 for the early band before the working day, +$40 in the evening, +$70 overnight — each one stated inside the quote.

Right of entry

Before opening a door or a vehicle, the technician checks the customer is entitled to be inside: identification carrying the address, a lease, registration papers, or an owner confirming by phone. If entitlement cannot be shown, the job ends there.

How the lock is opened

Non-destructive entry is attempted first so the hardware is kept. Drilling is only used with your spoken consent, after the replacement part and its cost have been named.

Warranty on labour

Workmanship is warranted for 90 days from the visit. Hardware keeps the manufacturer's own warranty. Neither one covers misuse, a later break-in attempt, or alterations by someone else.

Payment and cancellations

Payment is made when the job is finished — cards and contactless at the door, itemised invoice by email afterwards. Once a technician has been dispatched and arrives, the cancellation fee quoted at booking applies.

Liability

To the extent allowed by law, liability for any claim arising out of a job is capped at the amount paid for that job. Liability that cannot lawfully be capped is unaffected.
